What am I?

I am a scientist, athlete, and spiritual practitioner. In my late 30’s, I realized that I could be anything I wanted to be and started calling myself any way I feel like. I have been an atypical scientist who wouldn’t be just sitting and looking into the microscope all day. I was always a recreational biker and took up running at age 36. One day I swam in a relay race as a guest swimmer and ended up being registered in Japan Masters Swimming. During the same year, an old friend of mine texted and asked me out on a hike. I said yes, and we climbed Mt. Fuji at age 37 with little preparation and zero experience in mountain climbing. I loved it (he not so much) and became an avid hiker. I ran my first marathon at age 39 and officially earned the title “marathoner”. In my early 40’s, I entered my first multisport race as a triathlete.

When I am resting my brain and muscles, I meditate on life. I have witnessed miracles without scientific explanations and become passionate about them. I began writing to record such special and supernatural phenomena that data cannot capture. Eventually I needed a space to store and organize my spiritual posts apart from my scientific writing, so I opened a WorldPress account. I had never imagined before that I would be a blogger or content creator. But here I am.

My To-Be list is ever growing, and I think I want to add a ballroom dancer to it. If my unique experiences inspire others, then maybe I can be an influencer one day.
