The other day I wrote about how I get out of depression in 48 hours before it gets too deep and too long. That I would not stay stuck more than necessary. Sure, time for rest, reflection, and healing is necessary. It takes the time it takes, and you can’t cut that short. Time required varies for each person, and you know yours. Only you know.
Now you have spent the time you need and are starting to feel a difference. Even small. A few seconds of clarity or a couple of positive thoughts. Your body is lighter and less sluggish. They are the signs only you know.
Allow that process to happen naturally, and if and only if you feel like it, act on it. Such as start eating. Eating something healthy such as a piece of fruits like an apple for example, instead of a bar of chocolate, a slice of pizza, or a box of donuts, if you have starved your body while you were down. Hydrate. Give your body TLC. If you can find a little energy in you to care for something, choose yourself. Then, you are going to feel more difference in the next couple of days.
