Wow it has been a month since I wrote the last post!
Life has been difficult, but it is so for everyone that sees only the negative side of it. To be honest, I was one of them for the past few weeks. I would have spiraled down to the deepest end of the pit if I let it. But I am built different and am now on my way back up.
Things aren’t looking up for me yet. But I decided to start with my attitude to help the process.
Since I have read so many self-help books and learned (*not mastered completely) self-motivating techniques, I am going to apply some of them for the next 30 days or so to see if they work!
Techniques
- Read a motivational book 15-30 minutes a day
- Eat healthy (fat and protein) – keep sugar craving from stress at bay
- Write a gratitude journal – list minimum 3 things for which I was grateful for the day
- Practice Law of Attraction – pay more attention to the positive things around me throughout the day to keep my energy high
- Do mental affirmations throughout the day
- Do Law of Assumption before sleep – continue imagining the dream life I want
